I PICKED UP THE PIECES OF MY BROKEN EGO

Ok, I'm all Xenosaga 2'd out. I finally got to finishing that damn Dark Erde Kaiser loooong side quest. I think that's done it for me for that game. I can finally put it back on the shelf where it can live in peace. There's 3 more optional bosses that I've got to destroy, but I don't think that's going to happen. I'm finally looking forward to playing Viewtiful Joe 2 and getting through some of the 20+ manga's I've now got back-logged.

Ai Yori Aoshi volumes 3-9 were my purchases today. I wish I could get hold of some more Bleach though, that looks really good from what I've looked at. Apprently it's pretty popular! Awesome *LOL*

Shite say at work, but I havn't let it get to me. Asshole bosses... RrrGgg...

I JUST FORGOT YOU WERE THERE

I've gone and made a list of some graphic Novels that I would like to get. Yeah, ok. I got bored this morning at work. It's not like I haven't got anything to do, quite the opposite. It's just that I look at the pile and I think I can't be stuffed.

I neglected to mention that on my weekend trip to shinTokyo I not only picked up Samuari Champloo vol.2 (I've not even going to say how bad it is), I also picked up a couple of new series:

Kare Kano - Was the first, published by Tokyo-poop *hehehe* I recently finished watching the Anime Series but it just ended. There was no closure, it really bugged me. Now I liked the series enough to give the novels a bash. Looks like theres going to be 20 books though. Up to vol 15 is out as of today, which gives me a decent back log of the series to get through, hopefully by the time I'm up to it the rest of the series will be out. So far I've only gotten up to vol.3.

Ai Yori Aoshi - My next one. I've been interested in this for a while, just never gotten around to looking into it. It's a love story about a boys childhood love that comes back into his life to be his wife. Surprisingly enough though, it's almost completely different to Love Hina as close as the story sounds. I like the character art a lot. Theres going to be a total of 15 volumes, I've got 2 so far. But volume 8 is out at the moment. Once again published here.

The series that I'm also going to try to track down are Bleach. Excel Saga, Please Save My Earth and Steam Detectives. All out by Viz. And Sakura Taisen (!!), Mahoromatic, Samurai Champloo & Suikoden III by Tokyopop.

Othello by DelRay also sounds pretty good, it's just hard to come by over here. Theres not a lot of places that can consistantly stock there stuff. They are almost as hard to get as Viz Novels... Damn Aussie Manga market. Those American's are so lucky.

ARAHAN

Just got through the last boss of Blood Will Tell, I've got to say taht I was less than impressed with the overall experience. It wasn't really challenging and the storyline could have been so much more. Anyway, I'm trying to put it behind me. I've got to get Xenosaga 2 finished sometime this year so I might as well start on it.

I watched a Korean action movie called Arahan last night. I was really impressed, it was witty, lookd great and had a certain something familiar about it, maybe Volcano High, about it. The action was awesome with 5 min long un interupted fight scenes and 'palm blasts to boot.

COLOURS OF AN AUTUMN SKY

I finally got around to getting Viewtiful Joe 2 last night on the Gamcube. I went shopping and found a few extra dollars. My mouth has been terrible today. So sore, theres some bone that's coming out at the back up the top. It's pretty painful, although if I stopped playing with it I'm sure it wouldn't hurt so much. I just wanted it out.

It's been a pretty bludgy day at work today, once again the computers went down, so the entire department, nay building, got stuck doing nothing. We just watched the Corby verdict. I feel sorry for the poor girl. 20 years is a long time. I don't think she deserved that much even if she is guilty. Part of me wants to believe that she was set up. I'm just not sure. Either way I think it's tourist dollar suicide for the Bali government to sentence her like that. I understand that they are trying to appear tough on drugs but now I'm sure as hell never going there and I know a lot of people will be the same.

Fuck them, that's what I think. I'll probably just go to Phuket if I head that way. At least I won't get thrown in prison or blown up and I hear they treat you a lot better as well. You want my money, the least you can do is treat me and my country with some respect and leniency.

THE FIRE

My first day back at work was to be as expected. Almost nothing was done while I was gone, although I did get told that for a good portion of the time I was away a "certain someone" spent a lot of time at my desk. All I can conclude is that they were snooping around looking at stuff, wating time. This same person apprently also had the nerve to say that they should be getting my wage on top of theirs for doing my work. I once again stand by the fact that there was nothing to do. My desk was a barren wasteland and it's not very busy at the moment. There was almost no new work to do from what I can see. Pissy whiney little fucks that are all nice to your face shit me.

I did end up getting paid as sick leave for the time off though, which is a good thing. Although the girls did go around telling everyone that I took holidays, which apprently stopped a lot of arguments and bitching. Man I hate workplaces. I wish I worked someplace with less people, where if someone had a problem with me they could tell me and then I could tell them to get fucked.

I've figured out what to do with my left over bandwidth for the month. I'm finally getting the Negima! anime. All 18 eps, that are apprently out. Shouldn't be too long before the series is finished. I'm very anxious about watching it! Negima! r0x0r5

SUNSHINE, LOLLIE POPS AND PS2 NEGIMA

Oh yes, oh happy day. Lookie what just got announced! you can check out all the details out here and theres another 2 versions. I'm so undecided about which to pre-order. It's a hard decision, I'm leaning toward the normal edition, it contains a mini single again. The drama tracks are pretty useless too me, I've never really liked them. Also I've already got myself one "normal" version so I'm thinking I might as well keep the same theme going.

It's going to be released in two version again. The Gold Medal edition contains a full length drama CD, from what I can understand it seems to be some sort of Milk Maid Cinderalla Story (could just be my bad translation) and the typical special edition artwork box. The Silver Medal edition contains the mini CD of the theme song, I'm assuming complete with Karaoke track. According to the website this is as of yet unrecorded.

I'm back to work tomorrow, which is a bummer. But I'm feeling a lot better. I just can't believe how little I got done. Didn't even get one PS2 game out of the way, very disappointing ashar.. very disappointing indeed.

KARE KANO

Well I started his and her circumstances last night. It's not bad, different than I expected. Pumped a few more hours into Blood Will Tell. I never did get around to finishing the side quests of Xenosaga 2, I think I'm almost done. Well with my new found cash cause I get paid again soon I'm going to splurge and get some reading material. I'm thinking the Kare Kano manga and Excel Saga. I'd also like to look at getting one piece.

I've also taken consideration of my game stock. I'm not getting anything new for quite a while I've got more than enough to keep me busy, at least until the Harvest Moons are out in July/August. Oh and I just looked at the new Zelda trailer.... OH MY GOD, awesome... that's a definate must have.

BLOOD WILL TELL

Well I'm almost back to normal, I feel a lot better than yesterday and my swelling has almost completley gone down to nothing. Despite all this I still ache when I do too much, so because of that I'm not going to work tomoorw, I probably won't show up until wednesday of thursday. It's not like they can say anything anyway. I did take all of last week as annual leave instead of sick pay.

Mostly been playing Blood Will Tell, one of my downloads today. I'm moderatly impresed with it. I don't really like the whole atmosphere of the game, there's something not right about it. I seem to be stumbling across fiends to kill with out too much effort. Still it's a decent game, well worth at least a look to see if it's your thing.

Might watch some his and her circumstances tonight. Can't really think of too much else to do, it's either that or the final Lord of The Rings... Not sure which I'll end up with, it's such a big decision.

SEALED FOREVER

It's getting better. I'm feeling more and more like eating stuff and everything. Oh well, it's all good. I seem to be running out of tablets though, that's a little worrying. My swelling is going down as well, which is good.

I'm about 5 mins away from going through all 150+ eps of Dragonball. Tales of Rebirth was gotten today, and I was hoping to have Phantom Brave and Blood Will Tell before the night's out. But it looks like it might be sometime late tomorrow before they are done. ADSL is fast... when p2p stuff is good, unfortunatly that doesn't seem to be the case all the time.

Mmm Jelly and Icecream for dinner... Yum.

LEGEND OF THE TWILIGHT PRINCESS

Ok, So I've established that getting all four of your wisdom teeth out at once isn't the most plesant thing in the world. For starters it took me almost 24 hours to come completely out of the anesthetic, then a good hlaf of my mouth was paralyzed for 2 days. The rsult of that, lots of drooling. Still the pills I've got do help a lot, Mercyndoil Forte, or something er other. I can't really remember.

My concentrations isn't the best of late. At Least I'm not bleeding everywhere. I'm swollen like buggery though. But one good thing is that I've finally downloaded my First PS2 game on broadband - Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana. If it's good I'll buy an original.

I'm also hoping to get:

  • Blood Will Tell

  • Tales of REbirth

  • Ghost in the Shell SAC

  • Phantom Brave

All of which I'm good to buy if I like the, funnily enough, I don't have the attention span to play games at the moment. Oh woe is me and my head. I probably wont be back for a fre days now.

COUNTDOWN BEGINS

It's a little under 21 hours before I'm going to be laying on a operating table getting my face smashed up by someone I've only met once for 15 mins. There's a lot of trust that we place in doctors to do the right thing by us. I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with that or not.

Anyway I have to fast from 9am till I get operated. Looks like I'll be hitting maccas tonight, last ditch hurrah, I don't think I'll be right to eat solids for a while...

SMELLSTRA = GHEY

That is so ghey TPG have given me nothing but grief over my ADSL connection. There has to be something wrong with the line, perhaps they coded it wrong. I took my 1337 Billion across the road last night and tested it at a friends hours. Worked, no problem. Back here still does the same thing. It's not authentication so I can't establish a ppp session and I'm sick and tired of the customer service department telling me to check my settings. The settings are fucking correct, they've been that way since I set up the fucking thing. Theres nothing wrong with the settings!!! Can someone say LINE FAULT? Apparently not. At 11:30 last night I was still on the fone to them. OMFG, the dunce I was talking too was saying that if he lodges in a line fault and the line isn't faulty he could get in trouble. Mate, I don't give a fuck. At the moment I've paid for something that I can't even use, I don't care about you or what happens at work. Just fix the fucking thing!

I shouldn't get frustrated at the Customer Service guy, it's telstra's fault. They must have provisioned the line incorrectly... Could be a faulty port at the Multiplexer. Not my problem. I just want iti fixed before Wednesday next week. (I'll be home from hospital then)

BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL v2

Damn that games last boss was difficult. Stupid reversed controls. Finished it in under 6 hours on the "second time" through. I couldn't get enough of Secundo, man that character was funny. Something I'm not sure of though was the ending. It's so set up for a sequel, but I don't think it sold enough units to get one made. Which is a big disappointment. If you see it out, it's cheap now, pick it up. You wont be disappointed. It's awesome.

I've got my time off work, organised the Anethesist guy as well, paid the surgeon and now I all I have to worry about is getting cash out for the hospital to take on the day. The girls at Central Districts Hospital were really nice and helpful. If only everyone was like that...

My ADSL still isn't up and running! I know, I know. I've got a few things to check out and we'll see how it goes.

HERETIC DAYS OF LORE

So it's official, I'm booked in to hospital on tuesday to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. It's definatly something I'm not looking forward too, I mean can you blame me? I've never broken a bone, had a stich, concussion or anything! now I have to go in for an operation. Ok, so it's not a major operation, but it still freaks me out. I got a nice phamplet telling me of all the nasty side effects that I could have: nerve paralasis, fractured jaw, blood infections. !?!!!?! Ohhh nasty.

At least I've got something to do while I'm off work, don't know how that's going to go. But it's not like I have a choice. I might have to go in Monday at this rate...

ALWAYS AND FOREVER

Looks like I could have gone a little overboard in town last night. I went and did the things I had to do, then heded into the Muses to see if they had the new Reel Big Fish album in, or at least a release date. Anyway, failing that I notice a pile of games in the corner, having a quick look through it I noticed that they were all $20! So I picked up Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Ninja Assault, another game for my Gcon, which I barley used after getting it.

Also finally picked up a copy of The Davinci Code I just want to know what all the fuss is about.

Had a massive huge argument with the family tonight. I feel bad cause I acted liek a total prick. In my defence though I didn't go to work today. I've been sore and irritable all week. Not to mention the lack of voice I've had as well. Seems like the anti-biotics don't help when it comes to common colds. Oh well, I guess I'll have to head back to work tomorrow... :-( Life just isn't fair. I've been playing Beyond Good and Evil all day.

BELLS FOR HER

Yes, I'm at work. No I can't seem to talk. Yes, I ordered La Pucelle Tactics, not that I've even given Disgea even a look at since I got it. Looks like I might have missed the Austrlian Release of Phantom Brave though, that's ok. CDUniverse have the special edition, with a spiffy CD included on sale this month. Only downside to importing is that:
1) I have to wait - delivery
2) won't play on my PS3 (when I get one until I have it chipped)

Both of which I'm not too fussed about anyway. I'll rather have the La Pucelle from AU anyway, it comes with a bunch of bonus stuff that the US doesn't. Extra boss, costumes etc. Might give me something to do after my teeth are pulled out. Can you tell how much I'm looking forward to that?

JENSEITS VON GUT UND BOSE

S & S finally tied the knot yesterday. If I can be bothered I might even post some pics or something. I'm not sure yet though. I really can't be bothered doing much. It was a good night at the reception though, despite the fact that I couldn't drink more than a glass of Stella.

I even had an 80's dance off with Ben. It was a little hairy there for a while. Cosmic Girl came on and I was fast running out of idea's. He eventually admitted defeat when I whipped out the "Vanilla Ice Spin" an awesome move of such great power it made the enitre room gasp and step back... Ahh fun memories.

All the best to the newly weds. Hope they faired up ok this morning. and had a good night in their hotel last night *instert cheezy cat pur here*

AMOHEXAL

Ok, so I'm at home today. There's no use me being at work, I can't do much. I'm felling pretty out of it. I got some good news today though, finally my ADSL line provisioning has been given the go ahead. someone must have gotten off their ass and called Telstra to get the order processed. So in 5-8 working days (hopefully sometime next week *fingers crossed*) it'll all be set up.

I'm really looking forward to getting off this crapy dial-up service. Finally I can actially browse and download stuff decently! Ahh :-D

WERE GOING DOWN IN FLAMES

What a sucky suck suck day. I'm getting crap from TPG about my broadband connection. I should have been hooked up a week ago. I'm getting shite dial-up speeds of 33.6k. All they have to do is call smelstra and get the order approved and they keep coming back with excuses. I'm almost at my wits ends.

My antibiotic's are making me feel kind of crappy as well. Although the pain is going away, which is a good thing. I'm booked in to see the dental surgeon for Thurs next week. The infection should have cleared up by then... Hopefully. I just wish this nausea would go. :-(

WISDOM THAT I DON'T NEED

Meh, went to the dentist yesterday. She was really nice and I've been given the all clear except that I need to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth out. She even perscribed some neat-o anti-biotics and said I have an infection at the back of my mouth, that's why I've been feeling so crap lately. So I went and had some X-rays done this morning to taky to the dental surgeon. OH MY GOD, almost fell off my seat when she told me that my constultation only would cost me $70-$100, that's just for a quote on my teeth. He'll let me know if I can have them done in the chair or if I have to go into day surgery. Knowing my luck I'll have to do the day surgery. What a rip, I could have save 2g's if I just lived with the pain... :-(

So there goes my trip to melbourne that I have planned. And it looks I've I'll have to start putting some extra cash away over the next few weeks. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll win the lottery, you have to buy a ticket for that don't you. Shite, it's just not my week so far.
