Welcome to a new section I've decided to devote to all the stupid things that my superiors say. I'll be chronicling the idiotic comment and giving my thoughts on what I think it means or what they were trying to say. Once I get enough things I'll compile a separate page. Don't forget to leave a comment if theres anything stupid that your boss says. I'll try to update it as soon as I can if I hear anything worth mentioning. So on with the tardness:
Stupid Thing: "I'm asking the question..." - rv
My Take: I get this one every now and then. What baffles me is that I never actually hear what the question is. Maybe there is no question, whatever it may be I don't see a reason that I should give a damn. Often used completely out of any context, I'll just chalk this one down to having nothing to say but trying to express some form of managment skills. From now now I'll just assume that it's the question is that binds us, "what is the matrix?"...

I haven't really bought anything the past few day. I seem to have a dire shortage of cash the past few days. Still all is well because today is payday, regardless that more than half my wage has to go on the god evil credit card that seems to be sucking all my funds.
I've just gotten Jess' Christmas present, something I ordered from
The new Mario Kart is now is stock as well. And although I'm ridiculously poor at the moment I couldn't resist the urge to get it. Worst part of it was, had to get 2. One to play and one to keep sealed for collecting. No, no, just kidding the other is for micromachines who gave me explicit instructions to get him a copy when I picked up mine. I'm not sure how this is going to play. I've never really like the handheld GBA adaptation of Mario Kart, it was ok but lacked the multiplayer shenanigans of a 4 player console race. Hopefully with the DS's wireless capabilities and the ability to hook up to an internet connection via WiFi it's going to keep my interest a lot longer than it's handheld predecessor. I'm willing to give it a bash because it's a Kart sequel. Fingers crossed it lives up to the expectation.
Well I've finally done it. I've unlocked the tediously hard 1 Million Rose challenge in We Love Katamari. This pretty much signals the end of the game. Theres not much left for me to do, I collect a Million roses, which should only take a half a day or so, unlock a bunch of useless crap and then sit back be bored. I'll split it into a week or so though, for now my thumbs need some rest. I might go back and play Katamari Damacy, I know theres a few items and stuff that I haven't unlocked. (mainly because of the sore thumbs).
Looks like Tales of Eternia is getting released for PSP in EU regions sometime soon. I've seen conflicting dates but the consensus seems to be early next year. I'm a bit disappointed because I would have bought it if it was out now, even though I don't have a PSP as per say. But hopefully I'll get one shortly.

Not really sure what to think of this. It looks promising but I've been so dissapointed in some, nay most, of Square-Enix's exploits since the merger. Originally I thought it would be cool, and with the promised release of Star Ocean IIII got a little excited. But as of late... not so much. I've leaned away from my once fabled "Squaresoft" and "Enix/Triace" and am starting to venture into other companies. Namco have always been good but Monolith studios show some promise as well.
Of course I do, haw can you not. As you can probably guess I got my Us order today. There was some very nice goodies in there, one of the best being We Love Katamari, the sequel To Katamari Damacy. Theres a few reasons that make these games stand out from the rest. For starters the gameplay is different from anything you've ever played, they can actually be Laugh out Loud funny and the music is the original Japanese OST. This all leads to the unique gaming experience that is rolling Katamari's, it's a shame about the US boxart though, it's horrible. The Japanese original has the Namco Team holding up signs. Much, much kooler.
ZOMG, this has got to be the best FPS that I've ever had the pleasure of playing on PC. Quake is back in full force with all of it's original glory. The new "team" aspect of the game is really good, I especially like how it picks up almost right after the events of Quake 2. It looks very Doom III, I suppose because it's built on the same engine. But I can't be dissapointed. Doom III was too dark, and the fact you have to change between the flashlight and the pistol was very annoying. Quake on the other hadn is all about the fragiing, gibbing and just plain fun. I hope I get to see some of the old Quake 2 levels in it. Now that would be 1337.
I stopped off in
