KANPAN FURA FURA

Ok, so I've been a bit out of the proverbial "news loop" for the past few weeks. Very little of what the news papers have to say interests me. It's mostly about the up and coming election with each politician verbally bashing and undermining the opposing party. Anyway, it means that I've missed all the news about the damn muslims and their riots over a cartoon, more specifically this cartoon:

Apparently some Danish newspaper have printed this and a series of cartoons depicting the muslim god, which, or so I'm told, is against their religion. There has been an outcry among the islam community and I'm here to tell it how I see it:

So what if a newspaper does something that offends you, the best thing you can do is not buy the paper. You don't have to riot violently, that gets you nowhere. You want respect, well give it. The problem with the whole damn mulsim (and organsied religion in general), is that the followers get offended if someone doesn't believe what they believe.

For fucks sake, get over it. Your not in the crusades, people are allowed a difference of opinion, it's against my religion to kill people and that doesn't stop you fuckers from blowing stuff up. Get over yourselves, you wouldn't get so much attention if you just sat down and shut up like everyone else. Kicking and screaming all the time doesn't get you anything but a bunch of people hating you and your fucking gay homo camel humping country. You hate everyone so it's already hard enough for them not to hate you, only some sentimental faggot humanitarian gay activists give a shit if you live or die, everyone else just wants you dead.

As a matter of fact I hope all you fuckers die, because at least then I won't have to hear about you and your stupid country all the time and I can go back to my normal racial slurs about aboriginals asking me for cigarettes and change everywhere I go. If I had it my way this would have happened a long time ago to all you losers and the fucking mother country.

Eat me.

KUN TOBY
Tales of Eternia Online...OMG. This looks like the most awesome thing since. You mama and me got it on that time. I've not been one for online RPG's, especially as of late. I guess they consume way too much of my time... "just one more quest sausage... it's only 3am, I got 3 more hours before I have to get ready for work"

Thats probably the main reason I've stayed away from WoW for a while now. You either play them all the time or never at all. I don't think theres suck a thing as a casual gamer when it comes to MMORPG.

ToEO looks fantastic if your a tales far... and I am. But because of the depth of the item and skill systems usually involved, I'll really have to wait for a Stateside or better yet, an Australian release date. Don't know what the likelihood of that happening is... probably nothing cause Australia is gay and full of convicts and kangaroos...

I BROUGHT YOU MY BULLETS, YOU BROUGHT ME YOUR LOVE

There we go, a shiny new blog skin in under 2 hours for all of you to relish in... I know, I know it's fantastic, you don't have to tell me. If you don't like it... get stuffed... or pick another one from the skins page. They are all stored via the cookie monster and he remembers what you like. If you try to clean out his cache though your in for trouble as he takes a big steamy dump on your gay internet explorer. *SQUELCH*

Speaking of IE, this skin is 100% compatible with it, so it shouldn't look all weird and shite like the FF7 one. That should be fixed now as well... SHOULD... I've tested it but then I have a 1337 uber-computer that sqauts a brown eye at most. Still from what I can tell with my awesome PHP and HTML skillz it should all be ok again. Unless you used firefox, then you never would have had a problem.

Theres also a nice new list of what people that love me can buy me and send me. I'm not too fussed, just make sure you stick to the specifics and don't get me nothing that is crossed out... Oh, yeah and iPod would be good. Mmm baby, what I wouldn't do for an iPod...

SENDING A DREAM INTO THE UNIVERSE
If you know me, then you know I'm a huge Chrono Trigger/Cross fan. As a matter of fact I live for Chrono stuff. Then imagine my surprise when I'm browsing today at work and come across the most awesome thing I've ever seen, Chrono Resurrection. Only to do a little reading into it and I find out that those mighty tighty whiteys at squaresoft (they'll always be 2 separate companies to me, Enix was way better) shut down the project. Now my question is why don't they do a remake themselves, Square-Enix seem to be right into slapping some new graphics over and old game and cashing in lately.

I found it so odd that they haven't so I found a site, Chrono Trigger > Remake Petition, that is dedicated to getting a Chrono Trigger remake. I just don't what some stupid SNES on GBA or the PSX port on PSP. I want a full remake in 3D, no I demand it. At least give me something to think about while at work Square-Enix.

Failing that, having played trigger so many times (even now on the PSP I've got a game running) my insatiable thirst for Chrono games would be subsided with a Chrono Cross PSP remake. Fuck that game was good, and skrew all you poofs that say it didn't live up to Chrono Trigger. The Magic Field effect and sheer amount of characters were making it borderline better. Ok, Serge had fluro Pink socks, but we can forgive him for bad fashion sense.

On a side note regarding the PSP SNES emmulation. Now the problem with it is that it's still so in it's early stages. I find that if your run the CPU at 333mhz and set the frame skip to 1 or 2 you can play most stuff pretty decently. At the moment the ones I've got and have run at least playable are: Chrono Trigger, Super Mario Kart, EVO: Search for Eden, Tales of Phantasia & Bahumut Lagoon (although required some tweaking).

SEE YOU UNDER THE FIREWORKS

So what do you do on a February Saturday night in possibly the most boring city this side of the equator?
Watch a movie?
"Clock" a Playstation game?
Play with yourself?

Well if your anything like me (and not playing with yourself) you head down to the annual "omg, it's the last year before they cancel it even though they say that every year and we better go just in case it is" Skyshow. This time it's the '06 version. Now it colorvison max.

You go to city, walk 2 kms, sit down on a blanket and wait 4 hours for a 25 minute fireworks display to start while every dropkick, drughead, sluty chick and fat loser walk past and kick something off your setup. The fireworks go off, you go "ohhh, pretty" and then you follow the 200,000 mass of people back to your car for your hour long journey out of town.

Oh, if only every Saturday night was that fun. Alas, on Sunday you just get to sit and home, watch muppets and play your new PSP, which has just had SNES emmulation put on it. Yeah, I could so kick myself sometimes.

TEARS

You see the thing about picking up good manga is that you have to do a little research before hand. I don't really support Scanlations of licenced material and I think because of the price of manga everyone can afford it and should be able to buy it. Thus is the case of Pastel, I managed to download a few chapters of a scanlation ages ago, and then to my surprise I found out that DelRay had licenced it. So I headed to one of my Local Manga Marts tonight after work and to my surprise I saw it sitting there on the shelf, proceeding to put it on the counter I now, hold in my hands a sealed copy of the first issue. True Story.

See it's not that hard to buy manga, don't get me wrong I've got a few scanlations of some unlicensed stuff myself (Ichigo 100%, Parallel, Kimagure Orange Road etc.), but the people that sit there and solely download manga that is readily available in their own back yards pisses me off.

"Oh, but it's too expensive/I can't afford it" - Well you pussy piece of crap, if you can't afford $10 every 3 months, you should be disconnecting your internet and start collecting food stamps. It's just easy for homos like yourself to pirate stuff cause your too tight as to fork out of it.

"It's not out over here yet" - yes well like I said, that's not too bad, just try to avoid downloading the whole series and reading it at your PC like a fat internet 1337 m0f0 r0x0r5 that's never been laid. But if you get hooked on it and do download it all, make sure to buy it if it ever gets a local release. Support the artist!

"I just want to see what it's like" - Well pumba, get off your fats ass, waddle down to the manga seller (don't drive, you really need the exercise) and pick it up and browse though the first volume. If you can't decide after that, you need a bullet, go read some reviews or something, then eat cake and watch "Biggest Loser" to make yourself feel better about being a fat retard loner who masturbates to kiddy porn.

THIS TIME I MEAN IT

By far this has to be the best thing about the PSP. Now if only they would re-do Tales of Destiny... that would so make my life time.

Tossing up whether to get Breath of Fire for the PSP, don't know if I'll play it. I should be able to sort out some homebrew SNES emmulation when I get my USB cord tomorrow night, just don't know if it's worth it.

The US order has grinded to a major halt. Tales of Legandia, Wild Arms Alter Code F, Wild Arms 4 and Grandia III are all on back-order... WTF. who knows what's going on or when that will be sorted out. One thing I've learned with CDuniverse is that if something is on back order, it's going to stay there for a little while. You never, ever pre-order games from them. Maybe they just don't care cause I'm international or something... bah, I've got patience.

Off to town tomorrow night. Hopefully I can get what I need, I still have to pick up Serenity as well... :-/

WATER CLOSET
Oh yeah, it's all mine, it's my birthday, it's my birthday. Well actually it's valentines day and just getting back from a lovely dinner with my special girl I don't really have time to fiddle with it tonight. Must figure out how to hack the firmware so I can play you know... SNES roms and shite on it. I bought Tales of Eternia with it. Love the tales game, so awesome I can play it portability now. The screen and graphics are so crisp and clear. I'm very impressed with the unit with what I've seen so far. Sure the raw processing power might take a steamy bog on the DS, but it looses out on that whole "touch screen" gimmick that the DS has got.

Got my Harvest Fishing at the same time.
It's like Harvest Moon... but with you know... fishing...

LEGEND OF THE RIVER KING

I love niche games, not because they aren't mainstream, but purely because they contain some of the more interesting gameplay and stories you ever get the chance of experiencing. Harvest Fishing (River King in the US) is one of those titles.

Created and published by the same companies that bring me my beloved Harvest Moon's (damn you GBA version!!!!) comes this Fishing game with a story line. You take control of one of 4 family members all in the name of catching the biggest and best fish, upgrading your equipment as you go. Besides the fact it's just plain cute, the states don't have it yet. So it's a good time to get it, finish it and rub it all in your american buddies faces that a PAL games gets the go before them. ha-ha.

Finally be getting my Ceramic White PSP this week.

THANK YOU FOR THE VENOM 09

Thursday night Jesska went to the Blythe Meeting and willy, Arley and I had a decent night it watching TV and looking after ourselves. So it went off without a hitch.

Friday was standard, I fell asleep pretty damn early like the old man that I am and plodded home about 12am. Saturday was good, did the brakes on the Soarer which, although took longer that I expected, have really made a difference and were very worth doing. Pulling off the calipers and then the pads out I soon realised that they were nowhere near doing, thanks CMI Toyota... wasted $130. But like I said there better pads and make all the difference in stopping power.

I watched the skeleton Key today... B-O-R-I-N-G... what a slow start and lame ending. ZOMG, I wish I had that time back to do something constructive.

REFLECTION MOON

I went and got the new brakes for my car last night. Damn fuckers gave me the wrong rear pads, now I have to go all the way back there and swap them over. What a pain in the ass. It's not a Lexus LS400, them have piddly ghey brakes of losers. The Soarer (which obviously must go heaps faster) needs bigger pads!!! Bigger I tell you!

Thinking more and more about perhaps doing something fun this year. Lets face it, not really a lot happens at my work place. It just serves as a place for me to hang out during the day, mostly stealing my precious, precious hours of sleep. Lately been despising getting up to go to it. Maybe I should do something science'y at uni, that would be ok. I could become a much adored uni-bum, something I've heckled and abused since I started working, I'll probably get bashed if I show up to the uni, I'm sure that many hate me.

Get to bum it with willy and the kid tomorrow night why jesska goes to a Blythe meeting. In case you don't know much of anything and must be a gay nazi homo (the worst kind), Blythe's are a re-released and popularised 1972 doll. They are weird looking and I swear they all want my manly body, they keep staring at me. Oh, yeah I like it when they don't wear any knickers... Mmmm that's the stuff.

Thus comes the time where I need to step back and have a look at the crap hole that I've dug myself into.

DESPAIR ROAD

Jessy and I took a leisurely stroll in the botanical gardens yesterday. Was good to get out of the house, although next time we are going to have to organise some food and perhaps some kind of booze there as well. I wonder if you can take a umbrella in... Hmmm. Anyhow it was a good time. We played ninjas vs. army's in the trees and shrubs. I totally snuck up on a ranger and ninja'd him with a Mortal Kombat brutality, just like my hero Kung Lao.

Finally got in the mood to buy some seXbox games today as well. 2 for $40 at JB HiFi, cheap and sheek or so I think. So now I guess it's official that I've sold out and got all 3 uberconsoles that are around. Man I'd prefer to have a PSP though, the say that Eternia is released is drawing near and I haven't even got anything to play it with! :-D Nooooooo! I so wanted Mashed as well but I didn't have enough time or the patience to think about it.

Meh... it's relatively late and overdue time for bed.

AND MORE

Tales of Ledgendia is now slotted in for a 9th of February release date. First I've heard of it. Looks absolutely awesome. I figured it wouldn't be released until December but alas the gods of gaming have bent to my will, allowing me to dictate it be sooner rather than later. Now me wonders if they are going to to Tales of the Abyss as well. That's a pretty sweet game. It's a terrible shame that Namco America never did Rebirth or Destiny 2. I would really have liked to seem them go english, and Rebirth would have been so, so good.

At least I've got Tales of Phantasia on GBA to look forward too. I used to only be able to play that on the SNES-station before. Theres also Breath of Fire III for PSP to look out for as well as Tales of Eternia PSP. Now the PSP line up for RPG's is looking ok. It's just a shame they are all ports of SNES titles. Originality doesn't seem to be the PSP's thing. I'll have to look at getting one pretty soon as Sakura Taisen 1 & 2 shouldn't be too far away either.

SHINAGUMMIBEARS

Started a new series of manga the other day and I haven't been able to put it down... well I have now because I've run out of god damn books! Death Note... (can't do that kewl sideways spelling) is probably... yes, I'm going to say it... the BEST new manga I've read all year... yes, I know, it's a huge call that.

The story revolves around a high school student, top of the class, damn near perfect etc. etc. standard anime/manga crud. But, he finds a note book on the ground that ends up belonging to a Shinagami (death god) which is where it gets interesting. He kind of goes semi crazy and starts killing off all the criminals in the world. All he has to do is know a persons face and name. The police send a detective called 'L' to track him down an punish him for the crimes, when all he's really doing is cleaning up societies trash.

It gets very interesting as L closes in and Light stays one step a head. The artwork is damn good, the shinagami are drawn very well and the character art is stylish but not too polished.

I'll give it four and a half stars. The only reason it doesn't score a perfect 5 is that the rules for the death note have translated very gay and detract from the whole thrilling aspect of the story. Other than that it's damn near perfection.

New Negima! Game coming out on the 23d of march as well. AWESOME!!!!!

"Chuck Norris always knows the EXACT location of Carmen SanDiego."
