KOR

Not only have I finally finished the anime series Samuari Champloo but I'm also done with Imadoki!. I'm currently in the process of making a few reviews on them. Don't know how long they are going to take to do. Hoping to have them spun off on Sunday, but I'm yet to see if that actually happens, depending on what goes down on Saturday night.

There's also the small matter of Ghost in the Shell: SAC and Innocence that I'll need to attend too. Ghost in the Shell goodness all round for me and my homies... The best should be in the shop just before easter to get attended to, hopefully I'll have it back to do some cruising, now that I've finally gotten my hard earned $$$ from that shitty, shitty insurance shiester AAMI.

Uggh, I'm still plodding away at Tales of Legendia as well, fuck those character quests are boring as shit. Who cares if that fag of a mage has sex with his daughter or whatever, if the next one isn't interesting I'm taking a steamy dump on the disc and posting back to namco. Fucking filler crap...

BORN FROM AND EGG ON A MOUNTAIN TOP

Booyeah, In the last 26 hours I've managed to find time for under 2 hours sleep and I'm still standing. Not something I recommend kiddies, especially if you want to be kool and stay in skool. I completely ass raped my mum's laptop last night. Damn shitty Portable Media Devices and WM10 sync crap. It died when I was re installing the camera drivers. Oh, woe is me for spending all that time and it had to be wiped anyway. Still I managed to file scavenge most of her lost stuff.

I'm far too tired to give much of a crap now. It's fixed and everyone but me is happy... :-/

RUB IT!!

And here I was like a sucker thinking that I knew what I was doing.... Ha, I just guess that lets you know that it's never too late to teach an old dog new tricks. :-D

So yeah, I finally managed to find a copy of Bruce Campbells new book. Did it ever take some tracking down. Now I just have to find the time to get to read it. It's been a bit hectic this year and it isn't slowing down anytime soon with a trip to Brisbane fast approaching and many another wonderful thing happening it's hard for me to get 3 mins break to do much of anything.

Still saying all that I got to my good samaritan thing today and donate my precious, precious blood to some damn lucky anonymous dick/chick that's probably walking around right now feeling like $1,000,000. I don't know why I'm so goddamn nice sometimes... It is nowhere near anything remotely like pain, and actually leaves you with a nice light headed feeling you usually get after about 3-4 pints of icy cold larger at the local pub. Another great thing, is it lets you get pissed WAY quicker that normal. Theres downsides, for starters you get free food and drinks afterwards... Including beer... Wait... No, that's not the downside... um oh yeah, work gives you sympathy for being so kind not only do you look fantastic to everyone your also no allowed to do much of anything a few hours after. Once again not a downside. I did feel a bit tired, but meh, that's gone now for the most part. So don't be a gay nazi poo pirate homo and get out there and donate, it's free to do and you get stuff. Like my kewl badge, come on, you know your jealous.

My Negima PS2 vol.3 Arrived as well on Friday, I was just far too lazy to mention it. I got me Bleach for PSP as well if anyone has noticed it's been removed from the wishlist. Theres actually a really good review on the Negima games over at Beta-Waffle, one of the only places on the net I can find with another english speaking player that's decent to talk to.

For me anime games are becoming more and more popular, even if anime isn't. I'm about 1/2 way though Ai Yori Aoshi and I'm loving every minute of it. The game is voiced in japanese and looks pretty decent, even when blow up fullscreen on my massive manley monitor. It's just like sitting through another episode of the TV series. I still can't frind the "SLAP" or "STRIP" button though, you just know Kaouru Hanabishi really wants all of the harem in the sack with him at the same time. Well, here's hoping that's the Special ending I've been working so hard to get.

V FOR VENDETTA

Ones days is always made fantastic by a few simple, yet necessary things that can be combined to make an almost uber-day.

- Sex
- Alcohol
- Drugs
- Fast Cars
- Sakura Taisen
- Games
- Revenge

Any day that can score more than 2 off the list can be one of the best days of a young life. Such was today at the Clipsal 500. Man I was so wasted and got back to work when I was stumbling back to my car and found a pretty new 10year anniversary Sakura Taisen artbook waiting for me... Sweet...

Theres more, but I don't think I'm sober enough to remember it.

HOURGLASS OF SUMMER

So, so happy. It arrived safe and sound and looks really good. A big cheers out to Andrew at Transreality for getting it to me so fast. It better be as good as it looks.

I doubt dating sims will become my next big thang. Fun for a laugh (once again if it's not a Love Hina one that is).

I'm sad again because I've finished my Negima v9 up. As bad as it sounds I wish there'd be more frequent releases of it in the states. It's moving into an interesting story arc of the Mahora School Festival... and you know, magic school festivals with 10year old teachers always going to be pretty exciting.

What the hell does Kaouru think he's doing that naughty, naughty boy.

SWORD RAIN:OMEGA

To say I was overly in love with this movie would be a blatant lie, to say I liked it would be an understatement. So thoughts on this film lie somewhere in the grey area in the middle. There was a lot to like about it, it had great hype but it kind of came of of the "little Russian film that could". What the movie does do, it does well, but comes across sometimes and trying to impress you too much. There's a few points in the story, especially in the first half an hour that you really wonder what the hell is going on and why this person is doing that etc. Even though the main story isn't finished (it's going to be a trilogy) they sub story is wrapped up nicely but the end, and your left with a little warm fuzzy feeling for about 3 mins. With such an interesting storyline, fantastic cinematography, decent directing and good acting it's hard to point out why this movie isn't fantastic. Pick it up and watch it for yourself. You'll know what I mean. You loose interest about 30 mins into the film and you never really seem to get it back. It's like watching porn with midgets in it, you don't look at it straight on, but you've always got it in the corner of one eye.

Also splurging at the moment (and I shouldn't cause I don't really have the cash to) I went out on a limb and ordered Ai Yori Aoshi PC. I downloaded the trial a while back and it seemed pretty decent. I'm not one much for Dating Sims (unless it's of the Sakura Taisen or Love Hina kind) but Ai Yori Aoshi isn't a bad series and I'm happy to support a place in Australia that's ballsy enough to get dating sims over from the US and re-licenced for distribution. Booya! They don't have all that much at the moment, but the selection doesn't seem that bad at all.

NO IT ISN'T

Please understand
This isn't just goodbye
This is I can't stand you
This is where the road
crashed into the ocean
It rises all around me
and now we're barely breathing
A thousand faces will choose to ignore

Curse my enemies forever
Let's slit our wrists and burn down something beautiful
This desperation, leaves me overjoyed
With fading lights that lead us past the lives that we destroy

I listen to you cry
I cry for less attention
but both my hands are tied
And I'm pushed into the deep end
I listen to you talk
but talk is cheap
And my mouth is filled with blood
from trying not to speak
so search for an excuse
And someone to believe you
In foreign dressing rooms
I'm empty with the need to

Curse my enemies forever
Let's slit our wrists and burn down something beautiful
This desperation, leaves me overjoyed
With fading lights that lead us past the lives that we destroy

Curse my enemies forever
Let's slit our wrists and burn down something beautiful
This desperation, is leaving me overjoyed
With fading lights that lead us past the lives that we destroy

Please understand
This isn't just goodbye
This is I can't stand you

THE END OF A THOUGHT

The big question for me was weather to upgrade my PSP to 2.6 firmware (I had the sweet, sweet 2.0 when I bought it) to be able to play my new Sakura Taisen game. Doing that though, I would loose the ability to play home brew stuff, including SNES. So as you can see I was in a bit of a pickle. Sakura Taisen won out in the end though, I just can't say no to my girls. What a shite update though, I got the ability to play .wmf files... (w00t... wtf??) and a location free player, that I'll never use mind you. 3.0 looks decent, if it includes email, then again typing on the thing is so damn hard it's like SMS with only 4 buttons... very ghey indeed.

Now it's looking like my poor car will soon be getting fixed. I went and saw the insurance company yesterday, (if anyone asks I was sick OK?) and went and got quotes etc. Oldies have left for their trip, which means house to myself for the next 10 days. OMG... how... um exciting(?) I guess. I shouldn't have come back to work, that sweet day off just made me want to stay at home another day. Yeah, I just played the PS2 all day, Tales of Legendia is actually pretty darn nice.

BURN DOWN SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL

Who would have thought the inevitable would have happened in my own driveway. But oh yes people, it has. And my none other than my dear mother backed into my car on Friday night. Needless to say I wasn't' happy and have only just recently calmed down enough to form coherent thoughts. I don't blame her, it was an accident. But what really pisses me off is that it was just sheer stupidity that could have easily been avoided. I guess that's a valuable lesson to people, you car isn't safe ANYWHERE, don't ever think it is or I'll come over and kick you in the balls or ovaries, depending on what you have.

It's the public holiday for horse racing today. I swear we'd be the only country that has this. Anything for a public holiday in Australia, the lucky country, lucky nothing is open and I have to starve myself... stupid shops... :-/ At least it isn't so hot anymore. I've lived in the pool the past couple of days. Have you ever tried playing your Playstation underwater? Doesn't go so well. Trust me.

TALK ABOUT SYLVARANT

It's that time again, I'm all sushi'd up from the last 2 meals I've had and the best is going back in for a service. Come-on japanese penpals! Email me back dammit, you know you want to. I'll all manley, hot and australian. It's the best of both the light and the dark worlds of hyrule!

So it's time for me to don my mechanics hat and pretend I know what I'm talking about with the Soarer *puts hat on*... *takes hat off* who am I kidding. All I know is that the borken noisy injector isn't going to be able to be fixed, it must be replaced...

ahh fucking basement troll, leave me alone!

THE SUNDAY BEST

Angels and Airwaves... I can't be bothered posting a link at the moment, but it's the new bad of Tom DeLonge from Blink 182. I managed to get hold of a couple of the "leaked" sample tracks. It sounds so much like Boxcar Racer it's not even funny, no shit I'd swear it was Boxcar Racer if I didn't know better. That's not a bad thing though, I very much enjoyed the Boxcar Racer album, it was actually pretty decent. Mark from Blink as well also has a new hobby, seems he's into podcasting at Hi, My Name is Mark, which I'm sure would be good if I had a damn iPod. Precious, precious iPod...

Other than that it's more overtime for me at the moment, don't know how long it will be before I get home. I've mentioned how much I despise overtime haven't I? Best part is I'm never questioned about why and how much, I guess that comes with years of trust. Oh well, works loss is the way I see it, cause this place has been treating me so well lately...

*insert sarcastic groan here*

ON THE FRINGE OF SANITY

Did my frist Adelaide Fringe even tonight. Me and Jesska went to see Tom Stade and Co. for a comedy fiesta. Very, very enjoyable. Damn that Tom Stade is so damn funny. I was a little miffed at by the end of it I couldn't afford to get his CD. Yes, once again I'm uber-poor until Thursday (payday). He even said he's cum on it just for me. I had to trun down Tom Stade spooge! Oh the shame.

Very sucessful first time. There's a few other shows that I'm now very interested in seeing. We'll have to see if time and money allow for it... :-/

LAZLO

The AI Love You fanlisting on offbeathalo.com LIVES, LIVES I tell you!@!@@!!@!

MWHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!

So after many months of banter and deliberation with the previous owner, a few setbacks (that involved a server crash and email woes) its now apparent that my site has a new addition. It's not "official" as of yet, but you know... whatever.

A few interesting things are going on, it's Adelaide Fringe time, which means comedy and artsy stuff. Not too interested in all that jazz but tis a damn goo reason to go out for drinking... not that you need a reason normally. Not sure if me and the missus will see too much stuff, I generally avoid it. But inevitably you'll get dragged into something... it's always the way.

LOL
That stupid fuck sent me a second 2gig Memorystick duo, now I'm way to lazy/tight ass to send it back. If anyone is interested it's going for a mere $150AU. Email Me if you want it!

THE FOREST OF NO RETURN

It's my mummy's birthday to day. She's getting old, that makes me feel old. I hope she liked her presents, if not I don't care, as long as I get something pretty sweet when my birthday rolls around! Mwhahahaha.

2GB Memory stick Duo -High Speed- now I'm playing with super power, I can probably fit almost every single EU SNES rom that I can think of on it. Yes, ladies and gents, my PSP has had a much needed "upgrade" or so to speak. I've now got 2GB of data to mess around with and it's a fuck load for a PSP. It's a "high speed" stick, or what ever that means. I've learnt that the higher the speed the better something is, just like cars, athletes & taiwanese prostitutes. So whatever, it's the best my money can buy. Over kill? Maybe. Dirt Cheap? Defiantly. eBay r0x0rs... for some stuff that is.

I finally got around to getting the internet working from my PSP. Now I can be a lazy asshole and sit in bed and get on the net, not that you can do much on a PSP, but you know, the novelty is there if I ever need it. And my router isn't wireless, so I guess that makes my happiness pretty useless then.

On a side note, ToL rocks hard now I got my US order. I'll probably never get around to playing Wild Arms:ACF and Wild Arms 4 though. Also everyone is encouraged to donate to my "I need a 30gig iPod but I'm too poor to buy one" fund. There will be a paypal link up shortly, for now people can send cheques or cash to:

ash
c/o Design SA
PO Box 179
Hindmarsh SA 5001
Australia

You will be blessed with eternal peace and joy... plus I won't come around and boot your face in next sunday.
