TOGUESA

How great is the sum of thy thoughts? If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand.

It's good to be back on World of Warcrack. The normal sleep deprivation is already hitting hard. Now I'm an uber lvl.24 Druid Night Elf... and writing that down makes it sound so much more geeky than in my head. But for the most part it all about the pleasure you get from relaxing for 10-12 hours a day online in it's own little community.

Finally got THE BEAST back yesterday and now I can actually drive down the road and not look like one of the puncy poofta's in their girly "little 4wd", such as mum's car is a Rav4 and she has been kind enough to lend it to me.

Fuck I hope I get my camera back soon. I can't do much picture taking without it. That homo in Brisbane better have it to me by monday or I'll rip his nuts off. Yeah, I'd make a special trip. I've got his phone number and email and I can always tell the authorities that he was trying to send me kiddie porn.

THE BEST OF ME

So I'm finally back from Supernova Sydney... No wait, Brisbane.
Hmm so what was it like? Well busier for one thing. They had Summer Glau their for signings, River from Firefly and Serenity, and as much as I would have like to go talk to her and get her autograph I refuse to pay $30 and pretty much just didn't have the time. The Fat Controller was very unhelpful in that department.

I managed to loose my Digital Camera within 3 hours of landing. Luckily it turned up 2 days later at the supernova convention. But I didn't realise this so I actually haven't got it back yet. That really put a damper on the whole trip, not that there was much done except working and sleeping. We did get Sukiyaki one night, an asian restaurant where you cook your own meat in a soup on a burner right in front of you. Their pork buns were great!

There's not many pics, cause you know, camera.
Overall I'd say buisness-wise it was really good. But no where near as fun as Sydney and can't hole a candle to the awesomeness that is Melbourne.

THE STARTING LINE

Friday I'm off to Brisbane to participate in yet another anime convention, oh my god do they ever stop?? At least this time I don't have to deal with the annoying one, that stupid jerk face Chris. No, not micromachines, although that asshole is looking at a punch in the face if he doesn't stop being a snobby cunt.

*side note*
Not surprisingly I've done very little but play with my monitor today. I didn't end up going to work. Hopefully I can shake this crap feeling before the plane flight, wouldn't be good to experience the ear popping goodness that is the decent with a head full of cotton.

BY THE POWER OF VIEWSONIC

The best part of anyones week is when they win stuff. As I'm sure I've previously stated thanks to the awesome dudes at Hyper Magazine not only have I won myself a copy of Serenity on DVD, for the low low price of emailing, but low and behold my surprise when a 19" Viewsonic 2ms LCD shows up at work. For the first 10mins I was wondering why the fuck it had showed up. Had I ordered it when drunk one day at work? Ummm no. So upon closer inspection and a little think about it I vaguely recall a competition in the magazine about subscription renewal. That had to be it! So after a quick piss in my pants for excitement I raced home (well OK I had to get dropped off cause my car was put in for painting today) and check the mag, sure enough, something I had missed earlier, may name was printed as one of 2 winners.

So there you go. I never win nothing and I'm glad the one time I did it was this biach. It's huge, and fast and I get a wood just thinking about it. But surely this makes the pain of being sick so much sweeter.

I THOUGHT'D WHAT I'D DO IS, I'D PRETEND I WAS ONE OF THOSE DEAF MUTES...

Easter Sunday. Mmm it's nice to have day of to download crap and do nothing.

Oh, that's right I've been a hella busy boy. I've even managed to put up a review on the awesomeness that is Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex AND Halo: Combat Evolved for (triple)Xbox. Check them out or I'll find a way to track you down.

Oh and go check out Beta-Waffle for some info on the xecond Negima game for PS2... cause I ain't going to be doing a review anytime soon.

COMBAT EVOLVED

Booya to Easter being here. Kudos to work being gone for an extended period of 4 whole days... Kick start to the weekend for drinks after work on Thursday followed by a space adventure: city. Which was pretty decent I managed to get the very pretty PAstel volume 2. It's fantastic because everyone that comes here knows that I love my Bishoujo action! Hot girls, funny stories with plenty of sexual innuendo, horny frustration and a dash of heart-string-pulling moments. What caught my eye was that the arkwork in Pastel is really good. You need good artwork, it's the premise for a good manga.

When I walked out of DVDcrave, the greatest and most spectacular place in the world(albeit there's an asshole that works on the internet site and is a real cynical fuck when responding to legitimate email questions, but other than that they are great!), Wednesday afternoon I was pretty happy with myself, to tell the truth when I was going in there I was already pretty fucking happy, no shit I had wood, I'd managed to track down a copy of Ghost in the Shell for PS2 on eBay a couple of days earlier, in Australia none the less, and it arrived in the post that afternoon. Not only had Dragon Quest: Journey of the Cursed King come out I also picked up Tales of Phantasia for GBA and Halo for the triple-Xbox. Two reasons I was so happy:

I. Dragon Quest 8, the Australian edition, is shit loads better than the US version. We get a redone orchestrated OST, European voice action and more polsihed animation. It's basically been re-done for the AU & EU release. Glad I didn't pick it up from the US months ago. Dragon Quest is a long running series in Japan, if the cCharacter designs look familiar it's because you've been watching Dragonball Z. Akira Toriyama, creator of that long running series does the Character art for all Dragon Quest games and, funnily enough, Chrono Trigger.

II. Tales of Phantasia is a game that I've been trying to finish for ages. SNES roms I can't to RPG's. Too much sitting at the computer. I lost the ability to play it on the PSP when I upgraded the firmware and it never ran properly on the PS2 emmulated. It's finally come to AU shores and is translated. So long crappy ROM, hello color instruction manual. The game mechanics have also been made to play like Tales of Destiny. They are less sluggish and have much cooler animations.

I also decided to pick up Halo for Xbox, one of the games I've heard so much about the past 3 years. I'm here to tell you I'm impressed. I didn't think much of it at first but the deeper I get into it, I think I'm about half way through now... fucking covenant, I'm enjoying it more. The gradual progression of difficulty has me now scratching my head on why the fuck I'm dying so much. It's also really fun to pistol whip an entire enemy group to death. Classic!

NIGHTFALLING

I've got time on my hands - do you too?
Oh no, so come around.

I've run out of plans, same as you?
Oh no, so come around.

We can turn the lights,
turn the lights down low.
I know what you like.
Won't you just let go of yesterday?

I promised I was never gonna take you back.
Baby, don't believe me.
I said it like I meant it but I overreacted.
Baby, don't you need me once more?

Would you rather remain strong as steel?
Oh no, so come around.

I cannot contain the way I feel.
Oh no, so come around.

'Cause I won't back down.
Don't stop now.
Look into my eyes.
No, I won't back down.
Don't stop now.
Let's spend one more night
falling.

I've got time on my hands.
Do you too?

RELITERATED

So ha, theres a swanky new review up for the dissapointingly craptastic game "The Bouncer". So I wasn't heaps busy today at work sue me.

Thank fuck the easter break is coming up soon. I'm really looking forward to the break. Sometimes it's something you just need, you know. Not that I'll get that many presents, no body loves me enough to get me cockolate. Not that I want it or anything, it's just the though that would count!

To compensate for my sheer lack of caring about a holiday from a religion that I despise (well I despise most religions anyway, except buddism because of Monkey), I've gone and done it again. There's a really a game addiction at the moment. I just can't help it. It's like a fucking expensive version of pokémon, I've got to have them all. No shit, I get depressed and the shakes if I don't buy a game every two weeks, no matter what shit it is.

Is there a re-hab clinic for games? I'm so fucked when the PS3 comes out with the FFVII remake. Ohhh yeah, I'm almost creaming my shorts thinking about it right now. As long as the developer doesn't fuck with it too much. I want prettier graphics and the SAME god damn battle system. Don't care about much else, just don't fuck me over with those two things. And it'd still be nice to exploit the stat ups with Yuffie's Conformer. Mmm oh yeah baby. That did it for me

NERVOUS HEARTBEAT
Oh, poor bella. She needed a bit of the old help today I think. Poor little puppy nearly choked herself to death. A trip to the vet and the stress was over. I think the poor little girl damn near died. Hope shes doesn't do something that silly for a while. All this after I'd finished work, but a near death experience of a loved family member (no matter how yound they are) makes you forget about stuff like that pretty quickly. Anyway, after today I'm putting Vet's on my list of theives, what an asshole. I hope a dog shits in his nice new $120 loafers, Sunday callout my left nut.

The Bouncer, that's what i've been playing. It's old and I owned it and then sold it and just bought it again. I alo got Evil Dead: Regenration for my Xbox. Cause I play my Xbox so much and all. I remember why I sold The Bouncer now... :-/ It looks pretty and that's enough for me to give it another 2 or 3 hours to unlock it all, cheap kills that's the good thing. I don't like how the more I level up the harder the enemies get to kill. I should be farting at them and them dying now, that is just so ghey.

STUPID THINGS MY BOSS SAYS #2

Fairmontise

Ok, now for starters this isn't even actually a word...
Yes, I've checked my sources online and my mums thesaurus and even my ancient egyption-english dictionary. This is defiantly not in any. Now I pose my question, is it OK for a hot shit boss to make up or add words to the english language? I don't think so. I'm pretty sure that it's actually got to be illegal to the UN (everything is illegal to the UN) and I don't want to get my country sanctioned because fignuts decides he's got something clever to share.

So moral of the story, if your boss makes up a word, all are guaranteed to be moronic, shot him in the head before your poor country gets sanctions placed on it. We all want to prevent mass starvations and PSP shortages.

OGAMI-KAGEKIDAN

The reviews section is almost up. I just have to sort out a layout for it and and tweak the formatting a bit. It's a damn pain in the ass it is. I'm not used to working with such primitive tools such as tables. I can't get it to link to the main page layout, even if I wanted to. There's relative and absolute paths to worry about and the cookiecheck is playing havoc with pretty much everything.

I'll have to script some PHP or something into it to get it display based on series eventually. But for now, until it gets a bit larger that is, it can stay basic. I'll probably just pretty some shiny graphics into it for the time being. Mmm, yeah. It'll look so pro... LOL adaptive paths for div's are a pain in the bung hole.
