I've finally managed to get my ass around to watching some anime. As everyone would probably realise it's been a little bit... hectic?... at that place I go to work the past six or so long long months. As a result I've lost a little interest in anime, not that there's been anything released locally that decent for a LONG time. At least for now a lot of the spare time that I've been missing for so long has finally been given back to me with a rather long and drawn out week of speculation and rumors at work. Something big is going down with the down syndrome fucks we all know as "upper management".

Along came Paranoia Agent with it's big promises of being a super cool psychological thriller, much like Lain and the awesome Boogiepop Phantom. So I've sat through the first half the other night after work. I'm just about sit down and watch the second half. I'm reserving my judgment until the end.

(They are still nowhere as good as my awesome to Sakura Taisen: The Movie cel's I got at a steal but, meh, what am I going to do?)

Let me also just say fuck you Australia Post, when something is registered and it clearly says on the envelope that it requires a signature don't just leave it on the door mat. I'll notice, and if I see you do it I'll hop in the car with micromachines and run you off your pathetic little motorbike, then back up and do a burn out on you.

You know what also really fucks me off to no extent about eBay? Snipers. The assholes that don't place a bid until theres about 4 seconds left to go on the auction. Seriously, get fucked. I know I've been guilty of it, only once mind you and I still lost. All it does is successfully up the price I have to pay for something. If I ever get the address of a sniper I'm sending them anthrax covered dog shit and telling them to eat it. They would as well.

Now I've gotten that out of my system I'll tell you why I was so disappointed with it. For starters take a good long look at the poster. Oh Dragons and Magic I hear you say. Well your wrong, your lucky to see a dragon for 5 mins in the two hours and it seems the only magic people have is making things glow. BORING. Theres a cool magic sword and when it finally gets busted out your all like "cool, hes gonna smack that bitches ass into fiery pieces", but no. The "Magic Sword" is no more useful than a normal sword, pathetic.

I can tell your also thinking "It's a Ghibli Movie, it's going to have tear jerking moments and a be magic and memorable ride." Well its not. Apparently the son Goro Miyazaki has decided to try his hand at directing. I feel sorry for him, I don't think it's his fault the movie turned out so bad, if he had better source material I'm sure it would have been great. Unfortunately the movie just didn't cut the mustard when it came to plot, characters, music, animation, story and coolness. I was actually dozing off halfway through the movie, if it wasn't for the fat anime nerd bitch behind me that ate like a pig and laughed at nothing throughout the whole movie I would have caught some serious Zzzzz's. At least I didn't have to pay for the ticket, I would have been seriously fucked off if I had, probably would have put the fat nerd through the screen just for something to do.

It was boring as all hell, and I'm fucking lucky that I didn't break down and cry through the whole thing out of boredom.
