WII-MOTE REVOLUTION
There are somethings that man just isn't meant to know. Like where your poo goes sometimes when you drop one in the toilet, or why every fucker in the world goes out of there way to make noise when you have a spilitting headache. Luckily for us all this reference doesn't extend to the expected launch date of the highly anticipated (especially by me) Nintendo Wii.

Now according to my speculation and expectations Nintendo are going to announce the release date sometime in september. I'm really hoping that this is early septmeber, because the sooner a announcment is made the sooner I'll know when I can expect to dump a shit load of cash into a spiffy new Ninty console.

It's hard to control the excitment I have about the lastest and greatest console from Nintendo, just thinking about it while typing away at my desk makes me happy in my pants enough for me to blush and giddy like a school girl. I've yet to be dissapointed by a Nintendo console, bar the SP but that just fucked me off cause it was better than my krusty old GBA, and I just know this will be no differnt.

Viva la Wii... that doesn't make sense.
Wii will rock you!

SIT TIGHT

So it's been another long week at the crap hole of society. My mate is gone, the guy that replaced the girl that left had his last day on Friday, so where does that leave me? Bitter, lonely and tired. Pretty much what it's like at the moment. The good thing about all of this is that... wait, I'm still not seeing it. Wheres the team of arson ninjas I hired?

So Public Holiday for all, basically it's an awesome time to catch up on some sleep and gaming, which is pretty much all I've done. Jessy has finally bowed to the will that is a Nintendo DS and purchased one on Thursday night with Pokémon Mystery Dungeon - Blue Rescue Team. I'm sitting here now just realising that i've skillfully ninja'd the copy of Animal Crossing that I got her (wha, now what do I need two for?).

I've been playing the new Starfox DS a nice DS version of what I consider the 64 version. Controlling the Arwing (among other planes) is all via the touch screen and although it can be a little difficult to get used to it becomes second nature in no time. Just remember that all other buttons fire your lasers and for gods sake remember that holding it means lock-on death! It's not that big of a deal it's just something that I forgot about the first time through.

Although it was a tad too short, I enjoyed it very much. I'll put it on the list of things to do a review for.

Oh yeah, overtime means reviews this week. :-D

MY NEW ANTI-DRUG
Welcome to the thing that's going to consume a good portion of my spare time until the Wii is released on December 7th. Oh yes, it's an all new Final Fantasy game, not some remake that you enjoy better than it's original (looking at you FFX-2). It's been too long since I've had a brand monkey spanking new Final Fantasy game to play. I distinctly remember picking up FFX the same night the gamecube was launched. Yes, that long ago!

Booyeah, I got the US copy. Fuck waiting until the OFLC find the time to classify it and some loser company licences it and converts it to PAL. Long live NTSC for the PS2, fuck where would I have spent all that money if I couldn't get US games... I've got some fucking awesome stuff lately... Let me recap and gloat:

- Final Fantasy XII
- Xenosaga III
- .hack//G.U.
- Okami
- Tales of the Abyss
- Dirge of Cerberus
- Valkyrie Profile 2
- Grandia 3
- Harvest Moon Magical Melody
- Chibi Robo

For some reason I thought what I'd do was I'd get them all finished before the Wii Launch... Pfft yeah like that's ever going to happen, unless I invent some sort of time machine... Of course by "invent" I mean steal and by "time machine" I mean gold dubloons.

BUNGIE
The Master Chef and I just dished out some "hot lead sundaes" on all the Flood, Elites and Brutes I could find in some kick ass Halo 2 action! Booyeah, what a ride. Halo 2 = awsomeness. It's actually raised my ranking of the Xbox up a notch... so it's currently sitting at 1/100 now. HAHAHA.

It's just a shame that I'll never get to see how the series ends. There's no way in hell I'm every going to buy and NeXtbox 360, even if it does have Ninety Nine Nights on it. I guess I'll just have to hope someone gives me one again... Got any ex-rental stolen Xbox 360's to give away anyone?

LITHIUM FLOWER

Yes, it's finally here, in my house with my stroking it so so gently and whispering sweet things to it. Yes people I finally have a Nintendo Wii! It was a long haul over the space of 4 1/2 hours. I arrived at Toys R Us at 9:45pm eagerly awaiting being let in at midnight. I was about 30th in the line. I didn't get home until 2:30am. It was fucked, TRU are totally fucked. It couldn't have been any less organised as 250+ people waited over 2 hours for the first 40 to get served AND then be told that 3 games didn't come in! RAGE!!!!

Oh well at least I have it, that makes me somewhat happier, even without some games, but it's ok. Because it's mine and I have it now... Whew.

ENDLESS GIG

Wow, can I just say how jesus-titty-fucking-christ awesome Zelda: Twilight Princess on the Wii is. I'm I going to get the crummy GCN version... probably... if I walk past it, but for now the Wii version is making me all happy in my pants like a 15 year old Japanese school boy in his first mixed swim class.

But damn it get tiring, swing that Wii controller around all the time. I'm sure to loose at least a few pounds over the next month or so. Baseball is the worst, you get too excited and swing that controller around and low and behold you throw your neck out. Probably a good reason not to get too into the Wii, or baseball for that matter.

Anyway, Zelda is awesome, if you don't have your a gay-homo-nazi that dresses up in woman's underwear. As a matter of fact, any nay-sayers of the Wii will have me to deal with, trust me you don't want to be on the receiving end of a vicious wii-mote attack, you'll die.

CHU CHU TA CO

In the wake of the awesomeness that is the Wii Sports Experiment I too shall be accepting a physical challenge of playing 30mins of Wii sports everynight for 6 weeks and see how I go. However, I'm far too lazy to be bothered doing something as exciting and time consuming as recording calories burned and heart rates. I'm just going for a weight loss figure. I'll be ecstatic if I can pull off somewhere between 4-5 kilos. I suppose I should also look at limiting some intake of chocolate, chips and snack foods in general.

I'll weight in tonight before dinner and Update when I can be bothered. I'll probably only check my weight once a week.

HEARTBURN

So I decided to start up my WoW account again, considering I've had a game card sitting there for well over 6 months that I've never bothered to activate. I got all excited about it and started the update. While it was downloading the 450+mb of updates I took a trip to the local games place and picked up a copy of The Burning Crusade getting even more excited about getting back into Warcrack. I get home install Burning Crusade and click to start playing, OK, updating again... OK done... Now updating again... WTF. No less than 6 times did various patches download and install on top of the large 1.x to 2.0.1 mega patch. Fuck.

Finally installed so bypassing the new character I decided to log in an see how my druid, warrior, Rogue and Mage have been up to. Mmm gaining some nice rest EXP as well. I log in as my druid only to find that my guild has been disbanded... or I've been booted. Fair enough, I've been gone for 6 months, my friend list is empty as well... odd. I hope onto the channels and start asking about some old friends are on and still around, maybe I can catch up with them or something, only to find out that they have quit, or just aren't interested. So now I'm a guildless Druid with no friends. Just like real life hardcore WoW players.

I'm yet to see any real difference with the expansion. I haven't yet made it to any of the new areas. One thing though, Blood Elfs look like fags and the new opening sequence is teh ghey. Still I'll be addicted for the new 59 days, even though it's a little boring flying solo.

TOUCHDOWN TURNAROUND
Valentines Day love is all what some people are about. For me mixing a bit of hot controversial video game kissing simulation into the fray is always a good thing. That's right people Chulip is on it's way to the USA on February the 14th. Published by Natsume, responsible for the terribly addictive Harvest Moon series. The Goal of the game is to slut onto anything that moves and kiss EVERYTHING to make people happy... How fiendishly awesome. Obviously in VG town of Chulip there's not a whisper of Hepatitis... Lucky for them.

Sucks about it is that it's an EBgames and Gamestop Exclusive. So fucked if I know how I'm going to get a copy, living all the way down under. If anyone has any idea's (**hint** someone send me one... I'll pay of course) give me a hoy.

300
Hell yeah! Oh Fuck yeah!

Call me a nerd or whatever, at the moment I don't care. I just scored my first 300 in Wii Bowling, a feat that is hardly easy. And no, I didn't cheat. I just used sexy curve! Mmmm yeah. Feel like I have Pocky in my pants.

KISSING SUMULATION

Oh hoe hoe Fuck yeah! I finally managed to track down a US copy of the awesomeness that is Chulip It's taken me so long to track a copy down on eBay (it's a stupid EB/Gamestop exclusive in the US so my normal online games shop couldn't get it) that wasn't US $99.99 for a copy. Yes, you know who you are you stupid rip off fuck. I hope to god someone stabs you in the nuts with a rusty katana. It retailed in EB for US$29.99, so you can understand my disgust. Theres nothing I hate more than blatant profiteering on eBay. What fucks me most off is rip off postage, and have turned down many a sweet deal because the seller is trying to cash in on Postage. Fuck you sellers.

On a happier note Harvest Moon: Innocent Life is on it's way down under in under a week. Already got my copy lined up. Fuck I love Harvest Moon games, even though I've only ever finished 1 and started about 50. Proud to say I own a copy of every single english released copy, except for the SNES one, but I'm working on that.

REMINISCENCE

OK, for starters .hack//G.U. Volume 2 has been released. If your any kind of regular reader you'll know of my obsession with the .hack (aka: dothack) series. I love it. It's like online with out all the crappy EXP grinding a noobs bothering you. Theres a fantastic story about online shenanigans and the series is absolutely massive. The original .hack games kicked serious ass. Sure the battle system got a bit same but it was always fun tearing ass around kicking the crap out of everything and dragging some relatively decent AI party members with you. Fields and Dungeons are randomly generated with the help of a 3 keyword combination which opens up an absolutely massive amount of places you can go. All different from the last. The music kicks ass as well. So when heard about the second game of the new series (there were 4 old dot hack games and now theres 3 new ones) I almost shit my pants with excitement.

Funnily enough I haven't played the first game of G.U. yet. It's pretty slack on my behalf, considering I know how much I'll love it, but I've been a little too busy. Now there is only going to be a trilogy with this set of games with the last coming out in October. I've considered quitting my job to play .hack, theres a lot to be ding in a .hack game, but alas I don't think that will happen in the next few weeks, not why my credit card is in dire need of a cash transplant.

For now though I'm stuck playing the magnificent and addictive Pokemon Diamond for my DS. I've got the "gotta catch them all" fever. Also it helps a lot with my Action Replay DS, it means all the shiny Pokemon I can handle. Not that I'm a huge fan of cheating our way through games, but Pokemon without mega trading and a whole bunch of other crap that you need just drags out too long. It's nice to have a team full of shiny's though. Makes me feel special... HAHA BECAUSE I AM!

EXCITEDMENT

Sakura Tasien for a Nintendo DS? Oh how awesome is that. Especially considering how all I've pretty much had for the last 3 years is remakes (barring the fantastic Sakura Taisen 5)

Now a Sakura Tasien Dungeon Crawler with selectable characters from all 3 troupes, that's pretty bloody decent, and despite me barley knowing a lick of Japanese I never have a problem enjoying or getting through them. I wish the same could be said for the Mahou Sensei Negima games, those things are just HARD. What's the deal with no-one writing walkthroughs for them. Come on a harem of Anime girls with changeable costumes~!

ROOFTOPS
I've seriously found one of the best games on Wii, totally unexpected. I went over Willy's house on Monday night to have an extreme gaming session before the new baby comes rap rap rapping at his door. By chance he threw in Excite Truck and the next 6 hours was spent getting Super Air, Mega Drift and Super Truck Smashes... I'm addicted to getting Air. It's just the most awesome thing in the game. you boost up and fly, possibly landing in another car if your good enough.

Unfortunatly I didn't save, so when I do buy it I'll have to start over... Oh well.

HOLLY WOOD DIED

You know what everyone wants? It's the Special Edition Sakura Tasien Dreamcast. Well maybe not everyone, but I sure as hell do. If I can mamange to get my hands on one I'd be so damn happy. It comes with a Sakura Pink Dreamcast, Controller, VMU... and some other things. I don't know much about Dreamcasts and what comes with it. All know it's it super Sakura Taisen and I want it. There's the Sakura Taisen Complete Dreamcast collection in a special boxset as well. That's awesome. Every single Dreamcast game in one box. It's special as well. That's one of the things I love about the sakura taisen series is that almost every game comes with a special edition. I'm still pissed I didn't order the Sakura Taisen Monogatari Special Version. No I had to pov out an get the gay assed normal one. Another one of the most awesome things to come out of the Sakura Tasien series is the Pocket Sakura. Remmeber those Pocket Pikachu things that counted your steps and let you play gay mini games with pikachu? Well the Sakura Taisen version is about 1,000,000 times better. It came bundled with the Gameboy Color Version of ST that it tied into. Sakura walks around Tokyo meeting other ST characters and collecting things. She walks with you, it's still a pedometer game, and there are mini games but they are less gay and more like a Tamagochi. The only thing that comes close to coolness is the PocketStation, but that's black and white and there's no "super cool" games with it. (Yes, I have a PocketStation or two). Anyway I manged to pick up a brand new PocketSakura for only $9.90US, bundled witht he game! Oh, how I love play-asia.

DAYDREAM

Well I bit the bullet and did it. I’ve purchased myself a Mint Sakura Taisen special edition Dreamcast console. It wasn’t cheap, but who cares. It’s just so cool! It’s coming all the way from the UK… don’t know how it go there to begin with… but who cares it’s all mine!

THE BETTER PART OF VALOR
Sakuracomplete

Yes, I’ve one the Sakura Taisen Complete Dreamcast set. It included all the awesome Sakura Tasien games (1–4) on Dreamcast. The perfect thing to play on my new Sakura Taisen PINK Dreamcast Console. It was a hard auction to win, certainly went for more than I was thinking. I really should start to sell some of my old crap (mostly doubles of games and DVD’s that I’ve accumulated over the years) on eBay.

With the amount of bids on this set I’m really suprised I won it. Fear the near empty (although now nearing full) credit card of mine! It seems to have no bounds to what I can buy at the moment. Here’s hoping that everything arrives safetly, I’ve never bought from Germany or the UK before. But I will be suprised if anythign shows up within a week.

WONDERFUL
Wscff2a

I just won myself a Wonderswan Color from ye old eBay. It comes with the Special Edition Final Fantasy 2 box set, (so the Wonderswan itself it special edition Final Fantasy one. (^_^) ) as well as Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy IV. Yes, I know that's all I need, more final fantasy's that I'm never going to play, but come on, it's a Wonderswan!

I'd also like to get myself a GP2X, purely for the emulating goodness, as my PSP it's up-to-date with firmware upgrades. I just like the browser and stuff, and to be honest I'd rather it be all shiny and spiffy than old and crappy with a bit of emulation software.

I guess that's where the GP2X comes into play. It looks specifically designed to play all the SNES emulation that I could ever want, and although it's a little on the expensive side for what it is, it doesn't even have a Lithium rechargeable battery, it doesn't look too bad. Sadly though, like the Wonderswan, I'll probably have to wait a while to get one. At the moment I'm looking a HUGE tax bill for this financial year, damn government always wants me money, as well as a steadily increasing credit card bill for all the Japanese gaming goodness I've been purchasing. Bleh, makes me want to go to bed...

On a plus side I think my fir Dreamcast game, Sakura Taisen 3 [Limited Edition B], comes with another Sakura Taisen VMU, should be arriving tomorrow, it's going to be hard to guess what I'll be doing tomorrow night.

3.52 M33

Well I finally took the plunge and decided to hack my PSP firmware so I can emulate some of the super cool SNES games I have and hopefully some PS1 games.

As it turn out I needed to upgrade to the offical 3.50 firmware then downgrade to 1.50 then upgrade to 3.52 M33. All with a slight chance of turning my PSP into a shiney white brick. As it turns out, all went off without a hitch and now I can run Super Metroid among other calssics like EVO: Search for Eden, Super Mario Kart & Chrono Trigger. If I can just the the PSX emulation working for Chrono Cross (I know there's problems with it) and some of my other "awesome" PSX games I'll be all set!

BUT there's an "update" that I need to get installed and extracting files from offical firmware, although not out of my capabilites, is all starting to get too hard for a console that a rarely play. Still I'll perserver. Nothing like getting paid while sorting it out at work.

Another milstone last night was that I've also finally manged to get through all 111 episodes of Hercules: The Legendary Journey's damn it was a memorable ride. So hopefully I can finally get into doing something else before bed time now. I've got about 10 books backed up that need to be read in the near future. As always so many games as well. I don't think it will ever be possiblt for me to play everything I have...

CALLING ALL COPS AND AUTOBOTS

Well another week has gone by in the life of me. There's been a fair bit happening as well. For starter my host, hostrocket, has been hacked, yet again. As before I've been left unscathed. This time at least I still have access to everything, for the time being. Funnily enough it was even my server that was targeted and still nothing of mine has been effected. Fuck you script kiddies, get a life. It must make you feel so tough being able to exploit peoples security holes and piss them off. Remember, your NOT a hacker, your a fat loser that's never been laid.

Well in other news the engagement ring has had to be resized. Seems like Zamels at Ingle Farm are fat useless whores, oh yes, I'm naming and shaming. Hell I even went in with Jessy to get the finger sized up and they got it wrong. The sales girl there was completely unhelpful, so much so I'm tempted to set her on FIRE. Maybe that will give her the motivation to get her job done properly.

Hackguv3In my forever growing gaming pile I'm about to add the new .hack//G.U. Vol. 3 //Redemption to the collection. As well as a set of various other things I've really go no intention of playing anytime in the next 1-8 years. However, as I haven't yet played Vol. 2 I've got a few weeks of things to do before I can ever start the end of the series. I will however look at getting a few other things from the wonderful US:

- Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
- Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of The Lions
- Brave Storey: New Traveler
- Wild ARMs 5

Crap, I'm sure there's something else as well. I can't remember at the moment though, I'm sure it will come to me. My main question is when am I going to get to see the awesomeness that Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core!

Bowser is also getting a plethora of "upgrades" over the next few days. My new front end has arrived today, late model goodness. I just need to get it painted. Also still waiting on the Glass High Beam housings, hopefully they should be here sometime this week and then everything can go on. I've just ordered a set of whiteline Adjustable Sway Bars and a set of RDA Slotted Rotors.
I've also got a new Decal coming, (^_^!)

That's about it... I think. Looks like I've got a fair bit to get done before my "room mates" get back from the US of A. Somehow I don't think it's all going to be done though... Oh well.

DRAWN TO LIFE

DrawntolifeNow I think this is one of the most interesting game idea's that I've seen in a long time. AND a really good use for the DS and the tylus system. I'm thinking it's going to be something like Mii's for the DS. Now there's an idea...

Oh well it's called Drawn to Life and the basics are that you drawn your own games character as well as a few other things. Pretty fun. I say bring on the dick guys, naked chicks and poo monsters. I've already got a name for my rocket. The SpaceShit... you can guess what it will look like.

STREET FIGHTER IV

Street Fighter IV

Now I thought that this was pretty exciting. Finally a proper sequal to Street Fighter III. I'm glad it's not another "Edition" although I'm sure if the game is any good there will be a lot more Street Fighter IV's to come...
